A Greener Environment for the Next Generation

KORAMCO sets green investment principles and develops new products and services accordingly. Though ‘green features’ were once dismissed in real estate as low-return for high cost, we have worked to dispel that bias and secure rightful recognition for the value of sustainability.

KORAMCO’s GHG-Reduction Management for Climate Action

In 2022, we built an in-house system to measure, collect, and analyze data across all physical operating assets in REITs and REF: GHG emissions, fossil vs. renewable energy use, water consumption, and waste output. From 2023, under integrated AM/PM/FM collaboration, we set annual GHG-reduction targets for each asset and continue working toward them.

In 2023, our people focused on cutting office-space emissions through ideas that enable natural, voluntary participation. As a result, in 2024 we reduced 11,536.8 kgCO₂eq (26,237.6 kgCO₂eq cumulative since Jun-2022)—equivalent to planting about 5.0 30-year-old pine trees per employee (11.4 trees cumulative)."

    • Three water-saving habits at work
    • Slightly close under-sink valves (~20% cut)
    • Install faucet aerators (~30% cut)
    • Turn off tap while brushing (saves 12L per minute)
